What National Geographic Gets Wrong about Plant-Based Plastics
A recent examination of plant-based plastics in National Geographic omits key information and may serve to mislead its readers about the many benefits of these products, especially when compared with plastics derived from fossil fuels. As part of our effort to ensure a fair and honest discourse on bio-based materials, we respond to key misinformation in the article and correct the record. We hope future reporting on this issue will reflect these facts.
