Following the passage of a farm bill in the House of Representatives, Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman has released a draft of the Agricultural Act of 2026. Before the full Senate can act on the legislation, the Senate Agriculture Committee needs to mark up the text.

The released Senate language includes important bioeconomy-related provisions that can help drive demand for sustainable, plant-based, and biobased products made from crops grown here in the United States.
