Plant Based Products Council Welcomes Stephens as Project and Policy Manager

Washington, D.C. – The Plant Based Products Council (PBPC) is pleased to announce the addition of Jonathan Stephens as its new Project and Policy Manager. In this role, Stephens will support a variety of efforts, including membership recruitment and engagement.
“Jonathan is a welcome addition to the PBPC staff, and I’m excited that he is joining our exceptional team,” said PBPC Executive Director James Glueck. “Our members are the foundation of the work we do at PBPC, and Jonathan’s work to ensure we are meeting the needs of the growing ag bioeconomy will be critical to the future of our organization.”
Stephens joins PBPC following work as a research assistant with Mathematica, Inc. and internships with the International Fresh Produce Association and National Farmers Union. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he studied food science and agricultural and natural resources law.
In addition to his roles and responsibilities with PBPC, Stephens will also support Corn Refiners Association projects.
“PBPC’s work to advance the ag bioeconomy represents a valuable opportunity to grow American agriculture, and I am eager to support those efforts in my new role,” said Stephens. “Growing this organization will help farmers diversify demand for their feedstocks and ensure consumers have the choices they want for more plant-based products.”
