PBPC Welcomes Danielle Beck as Vice President of Government Relations, Promotes Kent Roberson to Senior Director of Government Relations
Aug. 11, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Plant Based Products Council today announced Danielle Beck has joined as Vice President of Government Relations, and Kent Roberson has been promoted to a new role as Senior Director of Government Relations. Beck and Roberson’s new positions strengthen the organization’s efforts to advance the agricultural bioeconomy and support the adoption of bioproducts.
Danielle Beck has more than 15 years of experience delivering comprehensive results in Washington, and comes to PBPC from Invariant, where she leveraged deep agriculture policy expertise to achieve legislative and regulatory wins for PBPC and other clients. Prior to her time at Invariant, Beck held several roles, including senior executive director, at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association following time on Capitol Hill, where she worked for Rep. Thomas Rooney (R-FL).
PBPC has promoted Kent Roberson to Senior Director of Government Affairs. Roberson has been with PBPC since 2021 and has played an integral role in advancing PBPC’s priorities in Washington and beyond. In addition to his work with PBPC, Roberson is an elected official in the Maryland legislature, where he represents the state’s 25th district. Roberson’s prior experience in Washington includes work advancing policy initiatives as a member of The Smith-Free Group, at CSX Transportation, and a term as a Marshal’s Aide for the United States Supreme Court.
“Danielle and Kent’s new roles add a dynamic combination of policy experience and strategic insight that will be instrumental in expanding the reach of the biobased products sector and strengthening our advocacy for the ag bioeconomy on behalf of our members,” said PBPC Executive Director James Glueck. “Their leadership enhances a strong government relations team that is committed to advancing policy solutions that deliver new markets for American farmers and boost domestic biomanufacturing.”
Both Beck and Roberson will hold identical roles for the Corn Refiners Association, the national trade association representing the American corn refining industry.
