PBPC Statement on the Executive Order on Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, in reaction to the Biden Administration’s Executive Order on Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad, Jessica Bowman, Executive Director of the Plant Based Products Council (PBPC), commented:
“We commend President Biden’s efforts to prioritize the fight against climate change. This executive order emphasizes the importance of plant-based products and materials as a way to meet demand and ensure that federal infrastructure investment helps in tackling the climate crisis. We look forward to working with the Administration to further emphasize the role of plant-based products in advancing a more sustainable agricultural system and consumer products economy.”
