Plant Based Products Council Welcomes Ameya Khanapurkar as Project and Policy Coordinator

Washington, D.C. – The Plant Based Products Council (PBPC) is pleased to announce the addition of Ameya Khanapurkar as its new Project and Policy Coordinator. In this role, Khanapurkar will support a variety of efforts, including membership recruitment and engagement.
“Ameya is a welcome addition to the PBPC staff, and I’m excited to add him to our exceptional team,” said PBPC Executive Director James Glueck. “Our members are the foundation of the work we do at PBPC, and Ameya’s work to ensure we are meeting the needs of the growing ag bioeconomy will be critical to the future of our organization.”
Khanapurkar joins PBPC following internships with the Corn Refiners Association (CRA) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He is a graduate of Boston University, where he studied history, political science, and economics.
In addition to his roles and responsibilities with PBPC, Khanapurkar will also support a number of CRA projects.
“PBPC’s work to advance the ag bioeconomy represents a valuable opportunity, and I am eager to support those efforts in my new role,” said Khanapurkar. “After a great experience with my new colleagues during my internship, I am thrilled to once again join this talented team.”
