We Respond to Widespread Myths About Bio-Based Plastics and Packaging
As we have endeavored to correct the record on bio-based plastics and packaging, we have noticed that certain myths and inaccuracies continue to appear in news coverage and the larger public discourse. In order to promote an informed debate, we have compiled the most common myths and falsehoods about bio-based products, and what they get wrong. Hopefully, opponents and skeptics will avoid these assertions going forward when discussing both the benefits and challenges of bio-based products.
