Plant Based Products Council Congratulates President-Elect Joe Biden

WASHINGTON, DC – The Plant Based Products Council (PBPC) congratulates President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their election and looks forward to working together to create a more sustainable and responsible global economy through biobased innovation.
“The development of the bioeconomy, through increased production of products and materials derived from sustainable, plant-based resources, offers exciting opportunities for economic development in depressed rural areas. With those priorities in mind, PBPC looks forward to working closely with the new administration on these goals over the next four years,” said Jessica Bowman, Executive Director of the Plant Based Products Council. “Together, we can continue to enhance public awareness of the many benefits of plant-based products, encourage business and government collaboration to introduce sustainability initiatives, and advocate for policies promoting renewable solutions.”
